Our Wines
Working Girl White
Our Signature Blend of Chardonnay and Riesling will ease the crankiness and stress of a long day. This “sassy little number” will surprise you — medium bodied, crisp, a floral blend that offers aromas of apples, tropical fruits & flavors of pears, sweet herbs and honey. Off-dry.
Go Girl Red
A lush little number that is currently a Merlot Blend.
This “Spunky” wine is tamed by its sensuous, velvet finish. We’ve often said it has the power to turn a gunnysack into velvet!
The style of Working Girl Wines is soft and smooth, easy drinking without a lot of tannins and oak. It was made especially to express the fruit and the softness of Merlot.
Lovely fruity aromas drifts up from your glass as you swirl and sniff in anticipation.
Then with your first sip you taste bright racy fruit, including black berries.
Rosé the Riveter
Rosé wines sometimes take a bum rap. There are different styles to every wine and grape. A true Rosé wine is crushed and the wine sits on the grapes skins for about 24 hours. This short contact with red grape skins gives the wine a rainbow of light red colors depending on the grape.
Our Rose is made from Syrah grapes. It’s semi-sweet, and the little bit of sweetness is balanced by the natural acidity in the wine. The two compliment each other making this one of our favorite wines. We say this is our 5 o’clock wine.
This wine presents a brilliant raspberry color and a nose full of red current, strawberry and cherry.
All this fruit explodes in the mouth with an evolution to the fullness and a perfect balance between acidity and a titch of sweetness. Long fruit finish.

Olympic Cellars welcomes you to dive right into the holidays with the release of our Cranberry Jubilee! It has been sold out since the early summer but it will be back in time for the Harvest Tour. We will also be releasing our new vintage of Rose’ The Riveter, a delicious and slightly sweet Rose’ made from Lemberger Grapes. A wide variety of other wines will be available to choose from like our Syrah, 2015. A deep, rich purple color, this wine features flavors of blueberry and spice with a hint of black pepper and a lingering finish.
We will also be offering a selection of harvest appetizers to sample; smoked salmon spread, cranberry shortbread bites, and sliced pear with blue cheese drizzled with honey infused with our Dungeness White Riesling.
Tour tickets are $40.00 (plus a service fee) or $45.00 at the door of each winery. A commemorative wine glass, wine tasting and food pairings are included in the ticket price. Meet The Team
Molly Rivard
Molly Rivard
Molly grew-up in Kenmore, New York. The 7th of 11 children. Following graduation, Molly traveled to Seattle to visit family in the area. She fell in love with the Pacific Northwest, returned to NY to pack-up her belongings and moved to Seattle in 1975.
She eventually settled in Sequim on the scenic Olympic Peninsula. Molly knows everything Food! She accepted a position as Food Services Manager for the Sequim School District, a job she held for 15 years.
In 2001, Molly embarked on a new career and rented out the school district’s Home Economics classroom to hold a cooking class for members of the community. One of her students happened to be me, Kathy Charlton, the new owner of Olympic Cellars Winery. I was her most challenging student and I’m sure caused her to re-think her new career.
Really though, we hit it off. I recognized talent… she made the best chocolate sauce and I wanted her to work with me at the winery. So Molly gave me a try and helped out with the 2002 Red Wine & Chocolate event. She sold her chocolate sauce, a family recipe which was named after her mother, Annie O’Grady.
Molly runs our tasting room and has greeted thousands of guests over the years. We’ve all become “sisters through the grape” as we grew together learning all aspects of running a winery.
Lisa Martin
Currently one of the owners, Lisa joined us in 2009. She has a broad knowledge about wine and pairings with food which has come with time, patience, and travel. She has tasted wines in California, Oregon, Washington, various states on the east coast, and throughout Italy.
Lisa studies began with chemistry and ended with a degree in Public Relations. In between she worked for an environmental consultant, traveling the States working on some of the Country’s largest super fund hazardous waste sites. As part of that job, she transported samples and equipment around Seattle in large bread trucks. When talking about this job Lisa said you haven’t lived until you had to parallel park a bread truck on a hill in the rain in Seattle traffic!! She was then 22.
After moving to Sequim in 2004, Lisa realized she had better look for a job in this declining economy. While waiting for her daughter to finish ballet class, “It just popped in my head! I love wine, engaging in conversations, and have good business sense.” She forgot impeccable timing – the day after the winery decided to hire a new employee, Lisa handed in her resume.
